Darlene Chiu Bryant is Executive Director of ChinaSF, appointed by San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee and tasked with stimulating economic growth and job creation through bilateral trade and investment between China and San Francisco. Darlene has had a diverse career in both the public and private sectors, having spent a decade in international trade in the fine chemicals sector in Hong Kong before returning to her native San Francisco to work in communications and public affairs for Mayor Gavin Newsom, East West Bank, United Commercial Bank and Pacific Gas & Electric Company.
Deputy Director - San Francisco Headquarters
With over 20 years of cross-industry strategic planning and international marketing and operations experience, Helen Li has held senior management positions at well-known Chinese, Singaporean and American multinational corporations. She has worked in such industries as tourism, hotel management, hotel real estate development, education, sports investment, e-commerce and mass communications. Through her work Helen is very familiar with the business environments of East and Southeast Asia.
Alex Moss serves as ChinaSF’s China Lead. He is based in Shanghai and oversees ChinaSF’s Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen offices. He works closely with business and government officials around mainland China to recruit Chinese investment to San Francisco. He previously served as ChinaSF’s Shanghai Program Manager. Alex received his degree in International Relations with a concentration in East Asian Studies from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
Leanne Lee Wang
Program Manager - San Francisco Office
Leanne Lee Wang supports ChinaSF’s mission of attracting inbound Chinese investment through program planning, managing sponsor relations, fund raising and serving as a liaison to visiting delegates. Prior to joining the ChinaSF team, Leanne managed global real estate and land acquisition projects in mainland China and Hong Kong and served as a consultant to the administration of the Guangzhou New High-Tech Industrial Development Zone to attract inbound investment.
