Summary:

ChinaSF, a San Francisco-based economic development organization, is looking to fill a San Francisco-based position that is a key role in its headquarter office.

 

ChinaSF Background:

Established in 2008, ChinaSF is an economic initiative of San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, in close partnership with the San Francisco Center for Economic Development.  ChinaSF’s mission is job creation in San Francisco, accomplished through the recruitment and retention of companies in San Francisco and also inbound investment, at the same time helping San Francisco companies expand into the China market. Currently with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and San Francisco, ChinaSF is able to provide services to companies and investors. ChinaSF has recruited more than 60 companies to San Francisco and has created more than 300 job opportunities.

 

Requirements:

●     Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an office setting

●     Comfortable working in and between Chinese and US cultures

●     Able to multitask and stay organized

●     Detail-oriented 

●     Fluent in written and oral Mandarin and English

●     Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office

●     Organize and able to prioritize work

 

Job duties:

●     Participate in team goal to identify viable Chinese companies to invest and expand into San Francisco

●     Support, plan and organize large-scale projects such as conference, roadshows and delegations

●     Assist in the preparation of quarterly industry-specific presentations, showcasing San Francisco as an opportunity and future partner for overseas expansion

●     General office administration

●     Billing and invoice management

●     Maintain website, WeChat and other social media platforms

●     Write and send e-blasts

●     Maintain and update Salesforce

●     Manage interns, overall team scheduling and travel

●     Meet and greet delegations 

 

Additional qualifications:

●     Self-starter and independent worker who can also be a team player

●     Experience working for both Chinese and US organizations a plus

●     Quality writing skills

●     Translation skills a plus
